PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine with a reduced external diameter dimension.SOLUTION: An electric motor according to the invention includes: a bracket 1; a housing 3 which is fixed with an opening part covered by the bracket 1 and includes a cylindrical housing body 8 and a cover part 9; a stator 5 which is housed in the housing body 8 and includes a stator core 11 and a coil 12 wound around the stator core 11; a frame body 16 covering an entire periphery of the stator 5; and a stator frame 4 having a flange part 17 formed at the opposite side of the bracket 1. The flange part 17 is fixed to the housing 3 thereby supporting the stator 5. |
