STATIC PRESSURE GAS BEARING AND ROTATING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static pressure gas bearing capable of reducing rotation torque of a rotor supported in non-contact, and a rotating device using the same.SOLUTION: A compressed gas f is supplied from an outer peripheral face (radial bearing face) 1121 of a porous metal sinter layer 112 of an air shaft 11 to a radial bearing clearance 60 between the outer peripheral face 1121 and an inner peripheral face 221 of a pulley 2. Thus a high pressure gas film is formed in the radial bearing clearance 60, and a radial direction of the pulley 2 is supported in non-contact. Here, the compressed gas f is jetted to the outer peripheral face 1121 of the porous metal sinter layer 112 from a number of pores 1122 in the direction tilted in a rotating direction Ro of the pulley 2 with respect to a radial direction Ra of the pulley 2, to be brought into contact with an inner peripheral face 221 of an air shaft insertion hole 22 of the pulley 2. Thus the pulley 2 is biased in the direction to enhance the rotation of the pulley 2, and rotation torque of the pulley 2 is reduced.
