<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic giving high interaction of a horny cell layer and water, having improved moisturizing effect and sustaining high moisturizing effect.SOLUTION: A cosmetic contains (A) 0.01 to 3 mass% of a compound having one or two or more guanidine backbones selected from (A1) the formulas (1) and (2) and (A2) certain heterocyclic compounds, (B) 0.05 to 5 mass% of a sugar alcohol selected from mannitol, erythritol, xylitol, sorbitol and reduced palatinose, and (C) water, where the mass ratio (A)/(B) of (A) to (B) is 0.01 to 15, and 0 to 5 mass% of ethanol is contained. [In the formulas, B and D represent a C2 to 8 alkylene group; L represents a bond, -CO- or a C1 to 6 alkylene group; M represents H, a lower alkyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group; p represents a numeral number of 1 to 6; q represents a numeral number of 0 to 6; Rrepresents H, a lower alkyl group or the like; r represents a numeral number of 1 to 10; and G represents H, a hydroxy group or the like.]</p> |
