Disclosed are a method and a terminal device for searching for a device, wherein the method comprises: a terminal device sending a distance measurement signal outside and the terminal device receiving feedback information that nearby devices respond to the distance measurement signal; the terminal device generating a search result list based on the feedback information, and sorting all the nearby devices in the search result list based on distances to the terminal device in a sequence from near to far; and the terminal device displaying the search result list. Through a preceding manner, the present invention can enable a user to quickly find a target device to which a connection needs to be established. |
