[Problem] To provide a foldable wheelchair which reduces the burden on both a wheelchair user and a helper when using the toilet and which can favorably be stored. [Solution] A foldable commode wheelchair (1) which comprises: a pair of left and right base frames (4) which include wheels (2) and rotating mechanisms (3) therefor; a folding mechanism (5) that telescopically fixes each of the base frames (4); a bending seat frame (12) which is a frame body pivotally connected to an upper portion of the folding mechanism (5) and spanning a space (7) between the pair of base frames (4), and which includes a bending structure (8) which bends the frame body at a center (7a) of the space (7), a pair of left and right moving mechanisms (10) provided so as to sandwich a bending portion (9), and a pair of left and right seat bodies (11) that are mounted on the moving mechanisms (10) and caused to slide in a prescribed section between the center (7a) and an edge (7b) of the space (7) by the moving mechanisms (10); armrests (13) that stand upright from side edges (4a) of the base frames (4); and back rest frames (15) that stand upright from left and right rear edges (4b) of the base frames (4) and have a flexible member (14) stretched across an inner space therebetween. |
