<p>The present invention discloses a method, an apparatus and a system for detecting an unauthorized wireless access point (AP), relates to the technical field of communications networks, and is used for solving the problem of information leakage. The method comprises: (301) an authentication client obtaining, by means of an application programming interface (API) of an operating system, a basic service set identifier (BSSID) for connecting a radio signal; (302) the authentication client comparing the BSSID for connecting the radio signal with an authorized BSSID list; (303) when the BSSID for connecting the radio signal is not in the authorized BSSID list, the authentication client determining that an AP corresponding to the BSSID for connecting the radio signal is an unauthorized AP; and (304) the authentication client generating a prompt message, the prompt message being used for illustrating that the AP corresponding to the BSSID for connecting the radio signal is an unauthorized AP. The solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention are suitable for detecting whether a wireless access point is an unauthorized access point.</p> |
