In a gripper for installing a cable: the present invention includes a moving body (20) which moves back and forth to provide an installation force for the cable; a holding unit which includes a moving block (32) and a fixing block (31) for holding the cable on the moving body; and a width control unit (40) for controlling the gap between the fixing block (31) and the moving block (32). Thereby, the external diameter of all the cables can correspond to a gripper. An installation process can be started without a separate process while quickly performing the insertion of the cable. Also, the installation direction can be easily changed according to the installation direction of the gripper.
