PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of successively operating settlement terminal equipment even when a damper is detected.SOLUTION: Settlement terminal equipment has a first unit and a second unit. The first unit includes: a communication part; a storage part; and a control part. The communication part transmits data to be encrypted to the second unit. The storage part stores a first program to be executed by the second unit. When a damper is detected by settlement terminal equipment, the control part encrypts either one of or both of a first cryptographic key for performing encryption and the first program stored in the storage part by using the first data stored in the first unit and the second unit, and outputs either one of or both of the encrypted first cryptographic key and the first program to the communication part. |
