PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability at the time of turning a seat from a storage state into a use state.SOLUTION: A seat device for a vehicle includes: a seat 10 which is movable between a use state of being arranged on a deck part 20 to allow seating of an occupant and a storage state in which a seat back 14 is folded on a seat cushion 12 and stored on a floor part 18 on the front side; a leg part 16 whose one end in the longer direction is coupled to the floor part 18 so as to be rotatable forward/backward and whose other end is coupled to the lower surface of the seat cushion 12 so as to be rotatable forward/backward; a lock mechanism 30 which locks the angle formed by the leg 16 and the lower surface of the seat cushion 12 at a prescribed angleαin the use state; and lock releasing means 32 which releases the locking. The lock mechanism 30 locks the leg part 16 and the seat cushion 14 at the time when the angle formed by the leg part 16 and the lower surface of the seat cushion 12 becomes the prescribed angleαwhen the seat 10 is moved from the storage state to the use state.
