<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work-piece conveyance device and a work-piece conveyance method capable of miniaturizing a conveying drive mechanism, reducing a cost, simplifying a structure, and reducing the number of components, and capable of performing the delivery of a work-piece suitable for each of a plurality of work-piece retention fixtures.SOLUTION: A plurality of work-piece retention fixtures (20, 30, 40, 50) are arranged lining up with the conveyance direction. A plurality of work-piece conveyance arms (60, 70, 80, 90) hands over work-pieces retained by the plurality of work-piece retention fixtures (20, 30, 40, 50) from the work-piece retention fixtures of the upstream side in the conveyance direction to the work-piece retention fixtures of the downstream side in the order to perform conveyance. Work-piece retention fixture driving mechanisms (22, 32, 42, 52) one-dimensionally drive the plurality of work-piece retention fixtures (20, 30, 40, 50) in the vertical direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction. Work conveyance arm driving mechanisms (110, 130) two-dimensionally drive the plurality of work-piece conveyance arms (60, 70, 80, 90) in orthogonal two directions (longitudinal direction, cross direction) in a plane in parallel with the conveyance direction.</p> |
