<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that can change a retry method in communication according to the type of data communicated between the information processing apparatus and a setting value management server, so as to perform appropriate processing according to the situation of an information processing system, and thereby preventing the unnecessary power consumption by the information processing apparatus.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus displays a setting screen for acquiring setting values managed by a management server and changing the setting values, and when the setting values are changed, transmits the details of the change to the management server. When the transmission has failed, the information processing apparatus switches between temporary stop of retry processing at a specific timing or continuation of the retry processing according to the type of the setting values being transmitted.</p> |
