The present disclosure provides phenolic compounds useful in the treatment of neurological conditions such as convulsions and tremors, having the structure of Formula (I):;;wherein R2, R4, & R5, are as defined in the detailed description; pharmaceutical compositions comprising at least one of the compounds; and methods for treating neurological conditions.

1. A method of treating a neurological or an inflammatory condition comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, wherein the compound has the structure of Formula (I): wherein:
R2 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, haloalkyl, and cycloalkyl;R4 is selected from the group consisting of H, halo, and alkoxy, wherein the alkoxy may be optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl and halo, and wherein R4 is not methyl; andR5 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, haloalkyl, and cycloalkyl.
