The invention relates to a release mechanism for a dual clutch of a motor vehicle, which release mechanism is fixed to the cover and comprises a housing which is arranged on a transmission input shaft, and is provided with two connections for a pressure supply element in each pressure chamber of the piston of a respectively associated clutch. Said release mechanism, according to the invention, is essentially formed from two parts forming a housing and a supply housing, which are sealingly connected. The main extension of both pressure chambers for the piston extends in the radial direction. |
