摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for tracking a camera which restores real environment in a three-dimensional shape, using a restoration piece and a surface having volume. The apparatus and the method for tracking a camera using a restoration piece and a surface having volume comprises: a restoration piece division unit which extracts and divides the reconstructed surface in three-dimensional space from an image obtained from a camera; a transformation matrix generation unit which generates the transformation matrix for at least one restoration piece among the restoration pieces divided by the restoration piece division unit; and a restoration piece connection unit which rotates or moves the restoration piece according to the transformation matrix generated by the transformation matrix generation unit, and connects the restoration piece rotated or moved with another restoration piece.
