Provided in the present invention is a method for manufacturing a low viscosity C_15 alkenyl group containing diglycidyl ether composition, which comprises: distilling a mixture of one or more C_15 alkenyl group-containing monoglycidyl ether and one or more C_15 alkenyl group-containing diglycidyl ether under existence of a free radical inhibitor; and removing at least some of C_15 alkenyl group-containing monoglycidyl ether. In the present invention, a low viscosity epoxy resin with high solid contents can be obtained from reproductive resources. Also, provided in the present invention is a composition of a C_15 alkenyl group-containing diglycidyl ether additive composition of polyamine.
