PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater that performs temperature control according to a deviation of a detected temperature of room temperature detecting means from a predetermined set temperature, and that operates on receiving an ON command when a detected temperature of second room temperature detecting means falls to a first reference temperature or lower and stops operating on receiving an OFF command when the detected temperature of the second room temperature detecting means rises above a second reference temperature set higher than the first reference temperature, and puts the second reference temperature closer to a room temperature when a user makes change to raise the second reference temperature of a thermostat.SOLUTION: Heating UP control is performed to raise a set temperature by a predetermined value or to increase heating value by a predetermined value when an OFF command is not received within a first predetermined time after an ON command is received from a thermostat 8, or a state in which a detected temperature of room temperature detecting means 6 of a heater 1 is equal to or higher than the set temperature lasts for a second predetermined time without reception of the OFF command. |
