<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform image formation with stable droplet discharge by suppressing degradation in liquid absorbing performance of an absorber.SOLUTION: A suction hole 103 is provided above a bottom part of a suction cap 282a. An ink 200 from the suction hole 103 up to a liquid surface is discharged through the suction hole 103 by sucking with a suction pump 105, thus the ink 200 from the suction hole 103 to lower part is retained. A suction member 290 is installed movably, relative to the suction cap 282a, at a position near the suction hole 103, and a position contacting to a residual ink 200 remaining in the suction cap 282a or a position contacting to the residual ink 200 while moving from the position near the suction hole 103.</p> |
