In the present invention, disclosed are a flame retardant thermoplastic resin composition, which has an improved heat-resistant capacity by using a novel flame retardant and a certain compatibilizer in a polycarbonate base resin, and a molded article using the same wherein the thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) 50-89 wt% of polycarbonate resin; (B) 1-30 wt% of butadiene rubbers; (C) 10-49 wt% of styrene-acrylonitrile-based copolymer; and (D) 1-30 parts by weight of phosphate flame retardants denoted by chemical formula 1 for 100 parts by weight of (A) to (C) component, and a molded article using the same. In chemical formula 1, R_1 and R_2 are independently an alkyl group whose hydrogen or carbon numbers are 1 to 5.
