The present invention relates to a touch screen device and a touch data processing method. The touch screen device includes: a panel unit that includes first electrode in multiple rows extended in a first direction and second electrodes in multiple columns extended in a second direction; a sensing circuit unit which detects change of capacitance generated in a cross point between the first electrodes and the second electrodes; a signal conversion unit that converts the change of capacitance into a digital signal; and a calculation unit that generates a binary image in the shape of a matrix corresponding to the first and second electrodes based on the digital signal, projects the binary image from the first electrodes and the second electrodes in the first direction and the second direction, and then generates a projection mask including a plurality of bit masks. The calculation unit can determine touch input by setting a plurality of sub-images on a common area between bit masks of the first electrodes at a first level or higher and bit masks of the second electrodes at a first level or higher as touch candidate areas.
