This invention relates to a control system for the three-phase motor, which prevents the generation of excessive heat in a coil through which a phase current flows by applying an alternating current to a specific phase when the three-phase motor keeps high torque, and a method for keeping high torque of the three-phase motor. According to an embodiment of the invention, the control system for the three-phase motor comprises a sensing unit to sense torque flowing in each phase of the three-phase motor; and a control unit to determine whether high torque is maintained based on torque in three phases sensed by the sensing unit and impress a direct current signal to a specific phase among three phases in case that high torque is maintained and impress an alternating current to signal to the remaining phases. |
