The present invention relates to a method for enabling a personal network (PN) admin in a PN to change information on an administered entity. The PN admin and the administered entity belong to the same user and are authorized to manage information on the administered entity belonging to the same user. The method is performed by a PN gateway (PN GW), and may include: transmitting a first request message for an administered entity adding request and a PN admin setting request to an administered entity candidate PN element (PNE); receiving a first response message including the result of the administered entity adding request from the PNE; if the result of the administered entity adding request is positive, transmitting a second request message identical to the first request message for a PN admin setting request to a converged personal network service (CPNS) server; receiving a second response message including the result of the PN admin setting request from the CPNS server; if the result of the PN admin setting request is positive, updating a respective PN inventory for adding the administered entity and setting the PN admin; transmitting, to the PNE, a third request message to request an information change for the administered entity corresponding to the PN element (PNE) in the PN, the third request message including PN information to be changed or PNE information; receiving, from the PNE, a third response message including the result of the information change request; if the result of the information change request is positive, transmitting a fourth request message for the information change request to the CPNS server; receiving, from the CPNS server, a fourth response message including the result of the information change request; and, if the result of the information change request included in the fourth response message is positive, updating the PN inventory to the information to be changed. |
