<p>Sliding plug door mechanism, comprising guide means (1) having a first guide means section (2a) and a second guide means section (2b). The mechanism includes a lever element (3) arranged to move with a door panel (10, 10a, 10b), the lever element (3) comprising a first and a second joint (4, 5). The first joint (4) is arranged to couple an actuator of the mechanism to the lever element (3) and the second joint (5) is arranged to move in/on the guide means. The second joint (5) is a turning joint connected to a door panel carriage (13, 13a, 13b) fixed non-rotatably to the door panel (10, 10a, 10b). The lever element (3) is arranged to rotate relative to said door panel carriage (13, 13a, 13b) as a result of the movement of the lever element (3) from the first guide means section (2a) to the second guide means section (2b).</p> |
