<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book storage management system capable of accurately reading identification information from a radio tag by a tag reader regardless of a reading unfeasible area of an electromagnetic wave emitted by the tag reader. <P>SOLUTION: The book storage management system in which a container is conveyed to a library from a station after book lending or returning work includes the tag reader 15 capable of reading the identification information of the radio tag 7 by using the electromagnetic wave 40.
