<p>Disclosed is a method for producing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid from an aqueous solution that contains an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid that is obtained by having a biological material and a microorganism react with each other. The method for producing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid comprises the following steps (1)-(4). (1) an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid generation step in which an an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid is accumulated in a reaction liquid by having a biological material and a microorganism react with each other (2) a pH adjustment step in which a liquid having a pH of 1.0-5.0 (inclusive) is obtained by mixing an acid with a liquid that contains microbial cells and the aliphatic dicarboxylic acid obtained in the aliphatic dicarboxylic acid generation step (3) a microbial cell separation step in which the microbial cells are separated from the liquid obtained in the pH adjustment step (4) a step in which an aqueous solution obtained by removing the microbial cells in the microbial cell separation step and a solvent are brought into contact with each other</p> |
