<p>The invention provides an optical fiber cable including a connector, and an optical connector. The optical fiber cable is configured to have a substantially rectangular profile and to be terminally equipped with an optical connector. The optical connector includes a ferrule; and a housing for receiving the ferrule and the front end part of the optical fiber cable. The housing also receives a welding connector for connecting internal optical fibers inserted into and fixed at the ferrule with optical fibers led out from an end of the optical fiber cable. The housing also includes a ferrule rotation limiting unit for limiting rotation of the ferrule in a direction about the axis; and a cable rotation limiting unit for limiting rotation of the optical fiber cable in a direction about the axis.</p> |
