<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge ventilation member 10 for a decorated slate roof which improves a ventilation performance and is capable of preventing rainwater from penetrating an attic space.SOLUTION: The ridge ventilation member covers a ridge ventilation hole 24 provided in a ridge part of a roof with a decorated slate 23, such that a ventilation passage A is formed while being partitioned in order from the ridge ventilation hole 24 through a lower ventilation space 20, an opening 12c of an inner plate 12 and an upper ventilation space 22 to a roof-side ventilation hole 11c. The ridge ventilation hole 24 and the roof-side ventilation hole 11c are communicated by the ventilation passage A, and air in an attic space is passed from the ridge ventilation hole 24 through the ventilation passage A and is exhausted from the roof-side ventilation hole 11c to the outside. Rainwater B penetrating from the roof-side ventilation hole 11c into the ventilation passage A is passed through a drain groove 14c of a long spacer 14 and drained to the outside of the ventilation passage A. The rainwater B penetrating from the roof-side ventilation hole 11c into the ventilation passage A is prevented by a ridge-side back board 13c from penetrating from the ridge ventilation hole 24 into the attic space, and the rainwater B is prevented by an eave-side back board 11b from penetrating from the drain groove 14c of the long spacer 14 into the ventilation passage A.</p> |
