A process cartridge (7) and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus (100) in which both a developing member (40) and a charging member (2) are separable from an electrophotographic photosensitive member (1) by changing the swinging attitudes of a photosensitive member unit (50) and a developing unit (4), thereby making it possible to obtain, with a simple construction, a stable image free from unevenness or transversal streaks.
