<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus, a communication method and a communication processing program that can avoid occurrence of communication errors due to inability to respond to command signals, adverse influences on account settlement processing and the like while giving due consideration to the efficiency of communication. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus capable of communicating with another communication apparatus via an interface in accordance with a plurality of protocols is so configured that, when having received a prescribed signal from such another communication apparatus, makes choice between a timer response that is given when a timer-set time has come and a consecutive response that is given immediately without waiting for the timer-set time for a response to the signal, on the basis of the content of the signal, and executes the chosen response to such another communication apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
