<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment apparatus which can efficiently perform wastewater treatment while effectively removing a nitrogen content, and to provide a method for driving the wastewater treatment apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An endless water passage (ditch 11) is provided with a circulation flow generating means (water flow generating device 12) and an oxygen feeding means (aerator 13) to form an aerobic area 14 and an anaerobic area 15. The apparatus is provided with: an oxygen feed amount controlling means 26 of controlling the oxygen feeding means based on an upstream side dissolved oxygen concentration measured with an upstream side dissolved oxygen meter 23 provided on the upstream side of the aerobic area; and a flow velocity controlling means 27 of controlling the circulation flow generating means based on a downstream side dissolved oxygen concentration measured with a downstream side dissolved oxygen meter 24 provided on the downstream side of the aerobic area. Further, the apparatus is provided with a target value controlling means 28 of adjusting the upstream side oxygen concentration target value of the oxygen feed amount controlling means and the downstream side oxygen concentration target value of the flow velocity controlling means based on an ammonia concentration and a nitric acid concentration measured with an ammonia/nitric acid concentration measuring means of measuring the concentrations of ammonia and nitric acid in a circulation liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
