<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the action of a detent escapement and time measuring accuracy by reducing the energy loss of a balance during detent operation by making the detent lightweight and reducing an inertia moment. <P>SOLUTION: A single-operating spring seat is provided in a balance, and a single-operating spring is provided in a single-operating spring supporting part provided in the single-operating spring seat.
