Various aspects are directed to providing an output/state (220out) based upon an input value (IN). Consistent with one or more embodiments, an apparatus (200) includes a bias circuit (213-215, 202, 204) that is connected between power and common rails and includes first and second current paths that provide first (I202) and second (I204) reference currents. A current-mirroring circuit (201, 205, 206 and 203, 207, 208) provides a first mirrored current (I206) in response to a voltage input (IN) transitioning in a first direction (from low to high) between voltage levels, and a second mirrored current (I208) in response to a voltage input (IN) transitioning in an opposite direction (from high to low). A logic circuit (220, 230) operates in a first state based upon the first mirrored current (I206) and the first reference current (I202), and operates in a second state based upon the second mirrored current (I208) and the second reference current (I204). |
