A weighing apparatus for flowable material such as foodstuffs conveyed along a vibrating distribution system comprises a product tray 56. A base 66 with beams 68, 69 supports the tray surface 56. A support arrangement allows flexing in a vertical direction via an elongate tubular member (200), rigidly secured by side members (74, 76) to the product-carrying surface, each end cooperating with a coaxially arranged pivot member (220,220') rigidly secured with respect to the base, and a respective interconnecting torsionally resilient (230, 230') sleeve. A load cell 90 is fixed to the base 66 by cross beam 71 and secured to the side members (74, 76) by an arrangement of leaf springs and members 260, 262, 264, 266 to provide a resilient arrangement. |
