<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of polyester excellent in environmental performance and applicable to industrial scale production of polyester, and a polyester composition and a molding containing the polyester obtained by the treatment method. <P>SOLUTION: In the treatment method of polyester, the content of a cyclic trimer in the polyester is reduced by 0.01 mass% or more compared with that before treatment by bringing the polyester into contact with water in a supercritical state or subcritical state.
