An efficiency test system and method for power conditioning system is disclosed. According to the present invention, the efficiency test system comprises: a battery charger to charge a battery using a system power source; a grid simulator output AC voltage meeting any performance test condition for testing a power conversion system (PCS) for an energy storage system (ESS) using a battery as a power source and supply to the PCS; and an RLC LOAD connected between the grid simulator and the PCS in parallel to control AC voltage or flow of the power generated electricity in order to prevent power generated electricity from flowing in the grid simulator. By this, the present invention can test the performance of a large capacity of PCS with an incoming capacity of a small system by operating the grid simulator using a battery power source without a test through a connection of PCS to the system directly. |
