FIELD: physics, computer engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a colour image forming apparatus which prevents formation of colour moire. The apparatus employs a single-board colour image forming element, which includes: colour filters, having an array of colour filters, where colour filters of all colours RGB are periodically arranged on each line in horizontal and vertical directions; weighted mean filters, which include filter coefficients with different proportions of the sums of filter coefficients of each colour on lines in the horizontal and vertical directions, are used to calculate weighted mean values of each colour of pixel values in pixels in a pixelated image, output from the colour image forming element. When calculating the pixel value of a different colour at the pixel position of a target pixel of pixelation elimination processing in the central segment of weighted mean filters, the pixel value of the target pixel is interpolated based on the colour ratio or colour contrast of the calculated weighted mean values for estimating the pixel value of a different colour.EFFECT: preventing formation of false colour of a high-frequency segment through simple image processing.13 cl, 12 dwg |
