Disclosed is a method of registering users in a software system for participation in a multi-user activity. The method involves receiving authentication information for a first user from a client device, and authenticating the first user based on the authentication information. In response to successful authentication of the first user, a user group associated with the first user is identified, the user group comprising a plurality of further users. User identifiers for the further users are transmitted to the client device. A selection of one or more of the further users is then received from the client device, and the one or more selected further users are registered within the software system as participants in the multi-user activity. |
