<p>A Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and beam-forming data transmission method and device are provided in the invention. The method includes a MIMO coding step for MIMO coding data streams to obtain coded data streams; a weight value estimating step for obtaining weight values W=(W i,j ) Tx*s of Tx*S dimension of antenna arrays of a transmitting end for beam-forming according to channel information from the antenna array of the transmitting end to the antenna of the receiving end, wherein, Tx is number of the transmitting antennas of the transmitting end, and S is number of the data streams which are MIMO coded, S‰¤Tx; a beam-forming step for weighting the coded data streams using the weight values W=(W i,j ) Tx*s for beam-forming and for transmitting the weighted data streams via corresponding antennas, wherein, the data transmitted via antenna i is overlapped data ˆ‘ j = 1 S W i , j �¢ x j , i=1, ..., Tx, j=1, ..., S, x j is jth coded data stream.</p> |
