A foil 1, 10 for covering a roof structure (2, Fig. 7), the roof structure comprising at least two adjacent rafters (3, Fig. 6) being spaced by a distance, the foil 10 comprising at least two adjacent position indication markers 11 being spaced by a distance (s) of at least 0.9 times the length of a cord hanging between two adjacent rafters and forming a drape between the rafters of less than or equal to 30mm. The position indication marker may be a thickening or a thinning of the foil, a protrusion, an embossment, a blind hole, a hole or a printed marker. Preferably, the drape is between 30mm and 9mm. Also provided is method for covering a roof with the foil comprising: positioning the first indication marker on a first rafter; fixing the foil thereon; spreading the foil so that the second indication marker is on a second rafter; and fixing the foil thereon to allow the foil to hang between the rafters. |
