<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that reduces manufacturing costs without an increase in size and deterioration in scan accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A light-source device includes a light-receiving element for a monitor that receives a light flux emitted backward from a light source. The light-source device further includes a synchronization detection sensor that receives a light flux reflected by a polygon mirror through a mirror of an optical system disposed before a deflector, and a synchronization detection sensor that receives a light flux reflected by a polygon mirror not through the mirror of the optical system disposed before the deflector. A scan control device performs APC based on the output signal of the light-receiving element for a monitor, and performs synchronization detection based on the output signals of the respective synchronization detection sensors. Timing in which an X incident angle and a Y incident angle to the deflective reflection surface are 0°falls in the range between timing of the APC and timing of the synchronization detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
