An infusion pouch 1 comprising an airtight film forming a closed outer container 4, a perforated inner container 5 within and sealed to the outer container 4, at least one frangible or tearable portion 6 on the outer container 4 and an infusion material (figure 2, 7) confined within the internal container (figure 2, 5). The frangible portion may outline a flap (figure 2, 11) which in use is mountable on the side of a drinking vessel. The inner container may comprise a polymeric mesh, and the infusion material might be a companion or wild animal foodstuff. Also disclosed are methods of manufacture of an infusion pouch. |
