PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a coloring agent dispersion for inkjet recording, which forms few coarse particles even if a crosslinking treatment of a coloring agent dispersion is carried out in a high concentration; and to provide an aqueous ink for inkjet recording containing the coloring agent dispersion.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a coloring agent dispersion for inkjet recording which has a solid content concentration of ≥25 wt.% includes the following steps (I) and (II). The aqueous ink for inkjet recording contains the coloring agent dispersion. Step (I): a step of mixing a coloring agent dispersion (A) containing a coloring agent, a polymer having a reactive functional group reactive with a crosslinking agent, and water with the crosslinking agent under the stirring condition of a stirring Reynolds number of 7,500 to 120,000 to thereby prepare the coloring agent dispersion (B) having a solid content concentration of ≥25 wt.%; Step (II): a step of subjecting the coloring agent dispersion (B) to a crosslinking treatment under the stirring condition of ≤the stirring Reynolds number of step (I) and a stirring Reynolds number of 6,000 to 100,000. |
