<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system having improved security against a fraudulent act. <P>SOLUTION: The game system 1 includes: a game device that is mounted with an integrated circuit, is manufactured and shipped by a game device manufacturer, and is installed in a game hall; a setting means of setting first setting information to the integrated circuit by the game device manufacturer; and a managing device communicable with the game device after the game device is installed in the game hall. The game device includes a setting information storage means of storing second setting information. The game device includes: an acquisition means of communicating with the managing device after being installed in the game hall to acquire second setting information stored in the setting information storage means; and a setting means of setting the second setting information acquired by the acquisition means to the integrated circuit.
