<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll type stamp capable of uniformly supplying ink to a printing body. <P>SOLUTION: The roll type stamp includes: a holding member 1 having a cylindrical holding part 1a; the printing body 3 attached to the outer circumferential surface of the holding part 1a, and on which letters to be printed are formed; and a holder 10 rotatably journaling the holding member 1. An ink absorption storage 2 is provided between the outer circumferential surface of the holding part 1a and the printing body 3. The printing body 3 is composed of a material through which the ink may pass, and an ink transmission groove 1h is formed at the outer circumferential surface of the holding part 1a. An inlet 1e is formed at one end of the holding member 1.
