<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas and liquid separation device for a fuel tank capable of increasing fuel storage capacity of the fuel tank and reliably preventing liquid fuel from flowing into a breather pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The gas and liquid separation device 20 for the fuel tank includes a gas and liquid separation device body 21 which is attached to a fuel injection mouth ring 14 installed on the inside upper part of the fuel tank, in which a communication hole is formed in a hollow shape to communicate with a gas-phase area 19 in the fuel tank, and the breather pipe 22 having an opening end 30 located in the gas and liquid separation device body 21 and extending toward the outside of the fuel tank. The communication hole is provided only on a bottom plate 26 of the gas and liquid separation device body, and a shielding member 23 is disposed under the bottom plate 26 to cover the communication hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
