<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the imaging of a long-time two-dimensional moving image by a moving image imaging apparatus having two imaging units disposed with a parallax. <P>SOLUTION: The moving image imaging apparatus includes: two imaging units for imaging a common subject from different viewpoints; with the provision of a switchover unit for allowing the two imaging units to alternately perform imaging operation, and for outputting an image obtained by an imaging unit currently allowed to perform imaging operation, a generation unit for generating a two-dimensional moving image data using the image output from the switchover unit; and prior to a switchover, a detection unit for detecting, as switchover timing, timing that produces a smaller parallax than a predetermined threshold, in the common subject included in the image obtained by the two imaging units. Based on the switchover timing detected by the detection unit, the switchover unit controls the switchover of the imaging operation by the two imaging units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
