Compositions comprising graphene sheets, and at least one acid. The compositions may optionally contain a polymer. They may be in the form of inks or coatings. The acids can be organic acids or mineral acids. The pKa in water of the acid is preferably less than about 4, or more preferably less than about 3, or yet more preferably less than about 2.5. The pKa in water may be less than about 2, or less than about 1, or less than about 0. Examples of mineral acids include sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, nitrous acid, phosphoric acid, boric acid, hydrobromic acid, perchloric acid, etc. Examples of acids include sulfur-based acids such as sulfonic acids, polysulfonic acids, sulfinic acids, including monomeric and polymeric organic sulfonic acids such as aromatic sulfonic acids such as benzenesulfonic acids, alkylbenzene sulfonic acids, alkyl and aliphatic sulfonic acids, toluenesulfonic acids, and naphthalenesulfonic acids |
