<p>A method for operating an engine control unit is specified. According to one aspect of the method for operating an engine control unit of the vehicle, the method comprises the following steps:
- collecting traffic data,
- collecting location data
- collecting status data from the engine control unit,
- calculating a control signal, wherein the control signal depends on the traffic data, the location data and the status data, and
- transmitting the control signal to the engine control unit. Further, an apparatus for carrying out the method is specified.</p> |
