<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal for preventing a third person who has memorized an image selected by a user from impersonating the user, and succeeding in identity authentication. <P>SOLUTION: Identity authentication means 10 of a portable information terminal 1 is configured to, when a picture transition operation is executed, display a candidate image picture on a touch panel by operating a candidate image display unit 100, and to determine whether or not the executed picture transition operation follows a picture transition rule by operating an operation determination unit 101, and to, when the executed picture transition operation does not follow the picture transition rule, determine that identity authentication has failed, and to, when the executed picture transition operation follows the picture transition rule, determine whether or not a user image as a search object has been searched on the displayed candidate image picture by operating a search determination unit 102, and to, when determining that the user image as the search object has been searched, switch the user image as the search object according to the search order of the user image, and to, when all the user images are searched, determine that the identity authentication has succeeded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
