The present invention relates to a system to maintain a GIS based sewer pipe and to check a state of the GIS based sewer pipe comprising: a checking sheet in which the state value of the sewer pipe based on the filming of the CCTV and in which an identification number of the sewer pipe is inputted; a reader unit to read the identification number and the state value of the sewer pipe from the checking sheet; a database unit to store a GPS coordinate value corresponding to the identification number and the identification number of each sewer pipe; a matching unit to match a GPS coordinate value with the identification number of the sewer pipe by comparing the data read from the reader unit and the data stored in the database unit; and a graphic user interface unit to display the state value of the sewer pipe on the graphic based on the GPS coordinate value of the sewer pipe by receiving data matched from the matching unit.
