FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method and a device for sending and receiving information on preliminary coding. The method involves the following stages at which: a wide-band indicator of a preliminary coding matrix (PMI) is obtained by means of a terminal; MSB bits of a PMI wide-band indicator are coded separately by means of the terminal or MSB bits of the PMI wide-band indicator are coded together with other information from N bits to receive the coded information; with that, MSB bits are a part of the PMI wide-band indicator and N is a natural number; and the coded information is sent by means of the terminal to the side sending the data. In variants of implementation of this invention MSB bits in the PMI wide-band indicator are coded and sent separately or MSB bits in the PMI wide-band indicator and other information from N bits are coded and sent together.EFFECT: technical result consists in the reliability of wide-band information of preliminary coding and reduction of error propagation, which leads to the improvement of efficiency of preliminary coding.14 cl, 6 dwg |
